Explosive substances and ammunition were seized near the bomb attack- struck capital of Turkey, close to an armed police checkpoint, said the Ankara Governorate on Feb. 25.
A Kalashnikov assault rifle, four detonators, two hand grenades, a machine gun, hundreds of bullets as well as three bags of explosive substances were found 800 meters away from the police checkpoint, on a road linking Ankara to Samsun.Ankara Governorate said the investigations continue.

Housing expenses had the largest share in Turkish people’s total budgets at 24.8 percent in 2014, followed by food and non-alcoholic drink expenditures at around 19.7 percent, according to the Household Budget Survey 2014, the results of which was released by the Turkish Statistics Agency (TÜİK) on Nov. 17.
